Hutchinson was recognized for its dedication to Public Service for the assistance it has given to the Rescue Mission of Trenton, as well for Hutchinson's Business Expansion, which has added 298 job in the last five years alone. Hutchinson President Wins Corporate Citizen of the Year Award
Hutchinson Industries has won the 2009 Corporate Citizen of the Year award from NJBiz magazine for its work with the Rescue Mission of Trenton. In addition to giving monetary donations to the Rescue Mission, Hutchinson has supported the efforts of the Rescue Mission by donating equipment and services, aiding in fundraising, and working with the Mission to provide new opportunities for job development and training. On May 12, 2009, Hutchinson Industries President Pascal Seradarian accepted an award on behalf of the company from the American Conference on Diversity. The award recognizes "outstanding citizens of Mercer County who are committed to improving intergroup relations and understanding and improving the quality of life for citizens regardless of race, color, creed, gender or ethnic, cultural or national origin through more than one of the following: community or public service: philanthropy and support of organizations, institutions or other organized causes that service in the best interest of the public; or leadership within the public, private and nonprofit sectors that serves to motivate others to promote the mission of the American Conference on Diversity".
