Hutchinson Wheels

Cast vs. Forged

Forged Wheel

Forged wheels are formed from heated up aluminum billet. Forging provides wheel excellent mechanical/ shocks properties, and extended life durability.

Cast Wheel

Cast wheels are formed when an aluminum ingot is heated up, then casted at low pressure. The wheel outline of the raw casting is heat treated. This technology permits to significantly limit the following requested machining operations.
